Exhibit of sculptured Swedish granite by Tomahisa Handa.

We worked for a couple of exhibition spaces in Chicago: The Cultural Center (formerly the central library) and The Chicago History Museum (formerly the Chicago Historical Society). For us, the most fun and fascinating part of exhibit design is working with the exhibitor, that and the opening night party. Subtle but obvious signage, dramatic lighting and secure display techniques are all part of making the objects shine. Vanim Design has worked with doll-makers, sculptors, painters and even an heiress that worked in dish-soap bubbles - no fooling.
